  • It looks like the latest root updates install the comments. Very cool. Question: How do you know if someone has commented upon your blog item? Do you have to visit your own blog and check all items for comments? This seems to be overly involved if true. I’m sure there is an easier way.

  • I sent a copy of the dashboard tool to Adam Curry. He made mention in his blog that he might have a use for the dashboard stuff. Hopefully he’ll send back some comments if he does.

  • I updated the website dashboard tool now simply called dashboard. It still has a few things left to do but it works, though is a bit quirky at times. I’ll send it to Dann for comments.

  • I just finished converting Dann Sheridan’s very neat website dashboard to a tool. I hope it makes installation, distribution, and updating simpler to manage. I’m waiting for Dann’s comments.

  • Sometimes I feel like I’m in a vacuum. Spouting out loads of stuff and not hearing any reponses. I guess that’s the point of a weblog, you don’t expect a response. Just someone to listen. Very theraputic at times.

  • The interesting side-light about writing this Root Updates Report tool is that I can’t wait for updates to happen so I can see what the output looks like. Interestingly, the update info gives info for all the previous updates to that root update. Very nice. I hate to say it but this tool really only…
