It’s great to live in Southern California. I just found out that we have the highest malpractice insurance rates in the country and many of the insurers are no longer writing malpractice policies.
We’ve found that the rates are almost double. It seems that the insurance companies have now found a way to recoup some of their losses from 9/11.
Sure why not screw the doctors, they’re rich anyway. What a joke. It now costs me over $45,000.00 to practice medicine. Couple that with the fact that reimbursement keeps going down and continues to more and more difficult to collect and it’s no wonder that the AMA said California will lose about 60% of their physicians over the next 5 years.
