OK, next overly ambitious project is to try and develop a tool to help track our outstanding patient data. These data would be lab tests, radiology tests, insurance approvals, and surgical scheduling.
It’s probably a bit ambitious at this point but I’ll start slow and pick up along the way.
The plan will be to have something that we can enter quick info into about what things are pending for a patient and will tell us how aged our requests are. Hopefully it will make us much more efficient. I’ll be sure to document the process. I’m sure it will be a learning experience. First step, outline the problem. More later.
