This is a very cool idea. I’ve been playing around with it for the past 24 hours. Here’s what I did.
1. Downloaded [podder.py][] script.
2. Followed [directions][1].
3. Made suggestion to Clint Ecker, the author of the script about automatically removing the downloaded MP3 as it gets duplicated upon entry into [iTunes][].
4. He updated the script, within an hour — wow.
I use the above method because I utilize [NetNewsWire][2] for RSS aggregation and it seems, at the moment to have the best integration. [iPodderX][] looks pretty cool, but it means an extra app doing the same work as NNW. You do have to use the NNW 2.x beta for this to work.
