It seems that a lowly [Gulfstream C-20][1] isn’t good enough for Speaker Pelosi. She wants a plane almost as big as [Air Force Two][2].
Her reported claim is that the C-20 must have a layover between Washington and San Francisco. I’m not sure why as the C-20 clearly has the range, 4275 miles. The C-20 is the same model plane used by former Speaker Hastert.
BTW, reportedly the cost to run a transcontinental flight on the C-32 is approximately $300K.
