Well, plans change. I did manage to implement a call to an XSLT stylesheet that’s out in the wild, and it does work but…
The whole point is to display the XML inside of a more human readable browser-type window. Damn [Safari RSS][1] just does a much nicer job than I could ever hope to do. That and [NetNewsWire][2] are more than enough for me to use to view XML.
I think somewhere [Matt][3]’s already done an XSLT sheet for Squib. But Safari won’t let you bypass it’s own internal system.
